Introducing Centene Clinical Action (CCA): A Comprehensive Provider Platform for Quality Healthcare Management

Date: 07/08/24

Centene Clinical Action (CCA), a tool designed for participating healthcare providers with assigned members, launches <Month Day, 2024>. This new tool will be accessible through the Secure Provider Portal and will assist providers in efficiently reviewing, prioritizing, and addressing HEDIS® care gaps through enhanced precision and insight.

Transitioning to CCA

CCA replaces Interpreta, which has been decommissioned. While retaining the familiar user interface of the former application, CCA introduces a new name and a revamped data source. There will be no interruption of access to the Secure Provider Portal.

Initial Release Highlights

Seamless access transition: Providers who had access to Interpreta will automatically have CCA access.

Familiar user interface: The user experience remains consistent with Interpreta, offering a range of familiar pages, such as a tax identification number (TIN) landing page, member landing page, and various member-specific action and summary pages.

Future enhancements:

Features planned for future releases beginning in Q1 2024 include:

•       Export functionality

•       Due-gap statuses

•       Suggested gap due date (single-member page)

•       Clinical priority (single-member page)

•       Cover page download (single-member page)

•       Reasoning, which identifies what qualified a member for a gap and what closed a gap (single-member page)

•       Last provider visit (all-members page)
